The Upper Amman Valley Community Transport Scheme is here to help you with your travel arrangements for shopping, outings and various other essential appointments.
The scheme includes essential trips such as attending medical, dental and chiropody appointments, hospital appointments, individual shopping trips, visits to family and friends, trips to the vet or anywhere else you may need to go.
All journeys are subject to the availability of volunteer drivers and at the discretion of the coordinator. Passengers pay the driver on the day of travel with a minimum charge of £3.00 for any journey.
The scheme coordinator can be contacted on 07938719638 between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. Monday to Friday. If there is no answer then just leave a message and someone will get back to you.
Please give as much notice as possible – preferably at least 48 hours, so that we have enough time to find a volunteer driver who is free for your request.
